West Seattle
Out on the West Seattle peninsula, we feel we have the best
of both worlds. The area offers an easy commute to downtown
Seattle via the West Seattle Freeway, but is removed from the
rush of the asphalt jungle by Elliot Bay.
We're a true community with a strong sense of local history.
It was here on Alki Beach that the first settlers landed almost
a century-and-a-half ago.  A number of parks offer views of the
Seattle skyline and the Olympic Mountains to the west, including Belvidere Park, Hamilton Viewpoint Park, and Alki Beach. The
West Seattle Peninsula is accessible by the Freeway as well
as by water taxi, which travels to Pike Place Market and the
Seattle downtown core.

Our local communities are important to Windermere, and so
each year our offices and agents put time and sweat equity into
the communities we serve, helping with various neighborhood
cleanup projects.
Annually we gather our agents together for a Community Service Day and clean, paint and repair a selected project. Each May, the
Windermere Real Estate/Wall Street, Inc. West Seattle office
sponsors the "Opening Day" crew race between the University
of Washington Huskies and that year's featured competitive team.
